01Minimum Eligibility
Candidates must demonstrate genuine musical proficiency, the ability to teach clearly and patiently, professionalism, and a temperament suited to working with children and families. Talent alone is not sufficient.
02Interview
Every candidate is interviewed in person or online to assess communication, professionalism, values, and fit with the Musicphonetics Standards.
03Demo Lesson
Candidates teach a demonstration lesson. We watch how they explain, correct, and encourage — because the ability to play is not the ability to teach, and we hire for the latter.
04Background Verification
We verify each candidate's background before any engagement, confirming history, qualifications, and standing.
05Reference Checks
Professional references are contacted and confirmed. We seek genuine accounts of reliability, conduct, and skill from people who have worked with the candidate.
06Document Verification
Identity documents, qualifications, and credentials are verified against originals. We confirm that everything a candidate presents is authentic.
07Bank Verification
Banking details for payment are verified directly with the teacher to ensure secure, correct, and traceable compensation.
08Identity Verification
We confirm the identity of every teacher beyond doubt before they are placed with a student. This is a core safeguarding step, not an administrative one.
09Performance Review
New teachers are observed and reviewed during an initial period. Confirmation depends on demonstrated quality in real lessons, not on the interview alone.
10Confirmation Process
A teacher is confirmed only after every stage — interview, demo, verification, and review — is satisfactorily completed. The process is demanding on purpose.
